Conservative pundits tend to go on about why more positive news isn’t shown about the ‘progress’ being made in Iraq (as if there were actual progress to report). The truth of the matter is that the reality of what’s happening in Iraq on a daily basis, the real human cost, never reaches us. And people should be asking themselves why that is, not why more positive news isn’t finding its way onto our television screens.
