this is hilarious because i actually picked one up in the store the other day and was like, “oh they have mini cadbury creme eggs now?” and then saw that it was 79 cents so realized that it must be a regular sized one, but i couldn’t get over the possibility that they used to be much bigger. I chalked it up to me not having had one for a few years… what a conspiracy! hahahaha

There is a lot of money spent to discoer ways to save money, but most often it is us the consumer who absorbs the cost. Same $$, less product. Nice video!

What a scam. So many companies do this and they’re making so much money out of this and us consumer’s are enjoying less of the product. Oh well shit happens. This video clip is pretty damn funny and it has definitely made my Easter much more enjoyable.

Honestly, it’s probably a blessing. Us North Americans are fat enough as it is.

Different product, but along the same lines…
I _love_ cheese. All types too: gouda, cheddar, most blues, etc… When I buy cheese for general usage (cooking, sandwiches) I typically purchase the “big strips”. They _used_ to be 600 grams in size. It was only a month or so ago, after commenting to my wife how the same blocks of cheese have increased in price by $2 over the last 3-4 years, that I realized they are now 540g — 10% less. Damn. They _look_ the same as before. Funny how when they add more product they’ll put a big bright label saying “MORE!”. Heh. I guess “LESS!” just wouldn’t wash with the marketing dept.
