I wanted to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes for my family.
I was overwhelmed by the amount of you who took the time to send your regards and well wishes to my Dad. I spent the better part of the day reading each and every email, and I cannot begin to tell you how greatly it lifted my spirits and my Dad’s. I will be bringing my laptop to the hospital so I can further share your generous wishes with him as he continues his good fight. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
To have received so much love, prayer, and well wishes from strangers only further measures the man that Matthew is for connecting with such amazing people through his music and words. I’m thankful to him for sharing you all with me, and I’m thankful for him being the best friend a person could hope to have.
My family and I would also like to send our very best wishes and thoughts to those who are also currently dealing with illness and the loss of loved ones.
On behalf of my entire family, thank you.

Here’s a joke, about nuns, so if you don’t like that sort of thing, turn back now.
There were two nuns driving through Pennsylvania when a vampire jumped on their car.
The nun on the passenger side said, “What do we do?!”
The driver said, “Just hold on, I’ll put on the windsheild wipers.”
The vampire hung onto the car and began to beat histerically on the hood.
The passenger nun started to panick.
The nun who was driving said, “Don’t worry, I topped off the windsheild washer with holy water.”
The vampire was sprayed and he began to jump around, hissing at the two nuns terrified inside.
The passenger started to rock back and forth, getting ready for the end. “Let’s pray to God something happens and we will be saved.”
The nun driving stopped and started to think. “That’s it! God will always answer those who ask. Show him your cross.”
The passenger nun smiled, “Now we’re talking.”
She leaned out the window, and yelled at the vampire, “Hey! Get the fuck off our car!”
