A Few Bits
Contact Music, an online music magazine in the UK, has reviewed Hospital Music, giving it 9/10. For those of you in Great Britain, the record is available on the UK iTunes Store for £6.32. It can also be bought as an import on Amazon UK and through the Matthew Good Online Store.
The last entry made my Matt about his computer has been removed as he has already promised it to someone. Of all the emails received, he feels that the family that is getting it is the most worthy, but details beyond that are not being given. Thanks to everyone who sent in emails inquiring about it.
Hospital Music continues to hold the #1 spot on iTunes Canada, which is something that everyone here has taken notice of. While owning a hard copy of the record is important to many people, it is interesting to see that an online store such as iTunes continues to do such brisk business.
The remainder of the tour dates for this fall’s Canadian tour will be announced in the days ahead. Please refer to the Shows page for new announcements.

I just went out to pick up my hard copy today, I love the simple and clean look it has! I think it is one of the best, if not the best Matt has given us so far. Please, don’t ever stop creating.

Relating to the Shows — those in Toronto are SUPER lucky. Massey Hall is an amazing theatre to see a show. The acoustics are simply brilliant. I saw the Goo Goo Dolls there with Lisa Loeb opening (just her and her acoustic guitar) and it sounded amazing.
To see Matt there would be even better (I’m in Vancity and well, it’s sold out).
Regarding the #1 Status — I don’t use iTunes (though I own a Mac) but do I have to log in to find who’s the #1 because I tried to find the number of albums sold and it proved to be difficult for moi.

That’s a great review! It’s on the Hospital Music page of iTunes UK as well, the only other review so far being one I wrote. Strangely, more people have voted mine more helpful which is odd as mine’s nowhere near as well written.
I got my hard copy from amazon, but downloaded it from iTunes as well, as I want this album to do really well in Britain so maybe Matt’ll play a show over here???
But it’s doing great everywhere, so congrats again, Matt.

It was written that the remaining tour dates for this fall’s canadian tour will be annouced soon, so I presume this means that no further US dates were scheduled? Will there be another tour later in the year or perhaps early next year that will come into the states?
