The Boy Who Could Explode

Around this time every year I like to do something fun. This evening, while relaxing and reviewing some of the works-in-progress that I have demoed over the last week, I decided that I would put one up on the Myspace page until tomorrow morning as a thanks to all of you that have supported me for so long.

Being that it’s still being worked on, the levels are off, certain things will stick out like a sore thumb, seem buried or confused, and so forth (I hadn’t planned on posting it to be honest, just a spontaneous happening). But that’s what demoing is all about. Basically, just take it for what it is, knowing that when I actually do record it, it will sound much better; as is hopefully always the case. I’m a firm believer that if demos sound too good then you’re in for a rough time in the studio trying to replicate them, so. That said, I’d just like to say that if there is ever an award created for excellence in playing the drums on a keyboard with your fingers, I should be nominated for it.

The song will be taken down in the morning.
