Chicago for St. Patty’s day, that could get sloppy.
Report
Come on Texas!!
Report
Ooo! The House of Blues in Cleveland. That should be a great time. See you there.
Ps. The Double Door in Chicago is a great venue.
Report
Oh man! I don’t think I’ve been to the Middle East Cafe in AGES! Hmm… Or for that matter, I haven’t been to Central Sq in ages either. :p
AWESOME!
Report
Yay Portland! :)

*prays for Philly love*
Report
There’s a Philly date listed on ticketmaster. I’m debating driving down there for it. It’s only 3 hours from NYC.
Report
bout time for a detroit show!
Report
Oh my God.
Best news I’ve heard all day!
Report
I’ve had Magic Stick tix since Friday. YEAH! I can’t wait!!!
Report
Hmmmm, the Crocodile (Seattle show on March 7) website shoots you over to the Ticket Web page that pulls up an error and claims that tickets are unavailable. BUT, doing a Matthew Good search on Ticket Web shows Matt playing at the Tractor on March 7 and those tickets you can click / purchase. Any info??
Report
see ya in Cleveland!
Report
New York City needs Matt Good.
Report
You know, for the most part, I have no desire to drive.
But then there are times when concerts and the what not are so close…
I wonder what kind of public transportation is available to get from Sarnia to Detroit…
Report
I saw you in Buffalo on the 5th of Oct, thinking I wouldn’t get the chance again. Took me about seven hours, now I see Cambridge! Even VT is a possibility. Thanks Matt. I’ll ask again, any chance of you recording Load Me Up acoustic for the website?
Report
Looks good, hope there is a 18 or all ages San Francisco area show!
Or one at the Showbox.. but wishful thinking I imagine. =)

Some info regarding Seattle show venue confusion:
Today, the Crocodile Cafe closed its doors and changed the locks. It was a pretty spur-of-the-moment act, but rumours were circling that “the writing was on the wall” for this to happen; apparently the club was having a hard time keeping up with the competition and no longer has the capital to continue.
I assume the show was re-booked with Tractor Tavern, who has the show listed but has yet to go ahead with ticket sales. I am also unsure if the Ticketmaster tickets sold for the Croc show (with either November or March dates) will be honoured by Tractor or if a refund/re-purchase is necessary. Contacting Ticketmaster is likely your best bet for information regarding venue closures if you need said info. Perhaps emailing Tractor might help, too?

Confirmation on the Crocodile Cafe…as I know a few of us are affected.

Well hopefully everything works out.

Hooray for Cleveland! Thank you so much for coming to visit! Hopefully our weather won’t be the trademark-awful standard for you : )
Report
crosses fingers for a San Fran date as I have a trip planned there for sometime in March
Report
Wow, I was at a show in Cambridge at the middle east last year to see Matt Skiba’s side project “heavens”. Was a very intimate show as the place only holds 150! I may have to make the trip down from Fredericton again! Sounds like this will be quite the show!
Report
Hmm, I might actually be able to swing a visit to MI that week, though I must admit to being somewhat scared of what googling ‘Magic Stick, Detroit’ would provide. What the hell is wrong with me haha, first Vancouver, now Michigan, and yet I’ve never seen you in Ontario, nevermind Toronto. Unnecessary traveling is absolutely the way to go. Either way, I’m in.
Report
Woo, NYC! Oh, wait…
If you’re looking for a smaller venue, Knitting Factory is great. Bigger, Webster Hall. And if you’re looking for somewhere with seating, you should have come when Broadway was on strike. ;-P
Report
My husband has played the Double Door and Middle East and says both are good venues. I will be going to as many of these as possible. Thank you for coming!!!!
Report
So mad about Seattle…
Report
Yeah Rochester! The venue looks fantastic, The pictures show checkered floors.

Am I going to have to pull out one of my boob shirts? Let’s hope for an all male security staff…
Report
YES PORTLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO HYPED!!
Report
Yay again on Portland !! Now the decision on what to do with my Seattle tickets from November …
Report
Hoping for an NYC date…..a return to Bowery Ballroom would be great……maybe between Mass and Philly in that 3/24-25 window? If not, I’ll head down to the tin angel in Philly.
Oh, and Tibbychick…..Philly is not 3 hours from NYC, more like 2. On a good day I make it in about 1:45.
Report
Some sad news on Monday, the Crocodile Cafe has closed it’s doors in Seattle (which is where you were scheduled to play in March)
Hope you can re-schedule?
I also hope this is not a trend, that you have seen all too well in Vancouver, of the closure of great and historic live music venues.

Quoting chimpat:
Yeah? I guess it wouldn’t take so long depending on the route you take…I’m just going by a trip I took down there to see A Perfect Circle, but I think we ended up on some random side road in Jersey. Well whatever I’m most likely gonna go.

Hmmm…noticed the huge gap between the 8th and 17th.
Are you trying to get into SXSW in Austin?
If so, awesome. I just sincerely hope you don’t play the same night as the Arts & Crafts showcase. :D
Just for those wondering, it’s the Middle East Upstairs (since there’s upstairs, cafĂ©, and downstairs…And Zuzu’s. Mmmm, Zuzu’s). That will be interesting…Very intimate space. Saw the Most Serene Republic there though, it was nice.
Report
Cleveland. I must be dreaming. Best Christmas gift i have received.

The Middle East in Cambridge — we are SO there. It will be the 3rd anniversary of John and I meeting in Boston and having breakfast at the Middle East (corner) before parting ways.

Please come to San Francisco! Canadians will come out of the woodwork, trust me.
Best venues:
1) Great American Music Hall
2) Slim’s
3) Cafe du Nord
Report
Yes!! CLEVELAND!!! thanks man….I’ll have a small city with me…
Report
The Cambridge Room is a really cool room. East 4th street is a great little area…
Report
East 4th is a great area only if you’re homeless… It’s currently nuked in construction. But hey, I won’t complain. I can’t wait for that Cleveland date! I’ve been waiting for SOOO long for a US tour, this is such good news!!

Quoting johnny0:

this is beyond neat fantastic.
i’ll see you at the cleveland gig.
i missed the last buffalo show due to the birth of my son who is already a fan at 8 weeks old.
he always calms down while hospital music is spinning in the cd player.
Report
I am so beyond psyched for the VT show!
Report
Quoting PJF6387:
I haven’t been down there since the summer. I like the bowling alley and the little street cafe type atmosphere…that’s all. Everywhere down there is prime homeless real estate!

Matt will be playing Highline Ballroom in NYC on 3/25. Great venue, seen a couple shows there this year…..not to mention it’s 3 blocks from my apt. Tix are up on ticketmaster. Merry Christmas!
