But I do need to say that a prison in Afghanastan and a prison in North America are two different things. Whether or not the general public would like to beleive it, Afghanistan is a warzone, and needs to be governed as such until a secure government can be established. I will never justify the use of torture, cruel and unusual punishment or "disappearances", but martial law is too be expected til the current crisis is calmed. A report can be just as bias as the writer of such. 99.9% of us will never know what these prisons are like. I can't believe the Bush admin. continues holding almost 15,000 detainees without any legality to it whatsoever.
