I’m paraphrasing a common axiom in science but: There is always a simple, convenient, avaialble answer to every question - and it is usually the wrong answer.
Why does that seem to ring true here?

I’m guessing that this is a video as I dont have anything above. Unfortunately, I can’t really offer my opinion on it then. So I agree with whatever Brian Smart say’s. He seems to know what he talks about, bears and all…

#1 Gerald Posner looks like Carrottop.
#2 There seem to be an awful lot of questions open for such a closed case.
#3 Props to Keith Olbermann for the scherzo introduction to Beethoven’s 9th symphony used in the show’s graphics at the beginning, though to be fair, I think NBC had used that symphony regularly decades ago at the end of newscasts.

it’s unfortunate, but reasonable skepticism re: this case will likely be lumped in with “9-11 was an inside job” conspiracy theory nonsense. if this matter ever gets looked into further it will likely be years and years down the line.
though i could be wrong. hopefully in the interrim we won’t be emburdened with an oliver stone film on the subject.
(apologies to any stone fans)

No entry for what’s happening in Georgia?
August 8th, 2008 at 9:23 am
Yeah i was thinking the same thing Russia vs Georgia backed by the western world is turning into to a prequel for another war maybe world war just curious Matt write about this
August 8th, 2008 at 1:59 pm
yes, I was so hoping to see an entry on what is happening in Osetia (Since this is the part of Georgia where the conflict is located)
I am therefore going to write a little bit. I just checked the news - it is not a conflict, it is a full out war. Russian troops are bombing Georgian airstrips, while one of Georgian striker planes was taken out by an Osetian plane. Tskhinvali (the capital) is almost under complete control of Ossetian forces with the help of Russian forces.
Here is the worst, yesterday 12 Russian peacekeepers were killed and 150 wounded in direct line of fire. And more than 1400 are dead in Tskhinvali
Here is the best part: Georgia was asking UN to tell Russia to stop military aggression against them while Russia warned NATO about supporting Georgia.
I wonder what Georgia has that NATO wants?
And,
It just keeps growing - Condi just told Russia to get out of Georgi and to “respect its unity”. I guess it is OK for some to separate but not for others…
By the way, Georgia started it, by attacking Tskhinvali and, for some reason killing Russian peacekeepers. Not every country can let its citizen’s murder go unpunished. (I know, Russia would have attacked anyway…)
It is a wild territory, good wine though (at list it used to be) and friendly people, beautiful mountains, always wanted to go there…

Nonsense? This is the usual response I heard to anything other than the “official story”, no room for debate, just personal attacks and derogatory comments. Could you please tell me why the US government thought it was necessary to grant 16 million to explain WTC7’s collapse? To this day they still have not finished it …. that is nonsense. As for the inside job part, I have no clue who brought those buildings down and anyone who says they know for sure what happened that day is full of shit. But the childish insults that are thrown at anyone who might question something that doesn’t add up to them, I think, shows a fear of what the possibilities imply.
Here is an expert in the anthrax field who goes through a lot of points and refutes them with knowledge, not insults.

i agree with skepticism and debate re: both 9-11 and the Ivins case being “closed”. i was simply commenting that stuff like the above video will be brushed off as conspiracy “nonsense”.
apologies if my phrasing was unclear in that.
and hell, maybe 9-11 *was* rigged. things have been getting so absurd lately that i’ll believe just about anything at this point. i’m more of the opinion that if the administration has anything to hide, it’s criminal laxity more than anything else. but that’s just my opinion. i don’t have a degree in engineering.
so, sorry if i upset you. i’ll give the link a good read. friends?
love mope.

Not upset, I guess I took what you said wrong. I’ve been hit with the tin foil hat tag for just saying shit doesn’t add up to me. Skepticism and debate all around, the side I’m coming from has some real whacked out theories so I get lumped in with them when I just have honest questions. I should decompress before I come here, the debate in a lot of other comment sections is more like “you want the terrorists to win” and “bush is a nazi and rigged the building himself, by hand.” Friends? For sure, who could be mad at you with a name like that.
August 8th, 2008 at 7:19 pm
Yeah 9-11 was most likely rigged but i am telling you the U.S and NATO don’t want Russia to have strangle hold on the resources like they always have there is a important pipeline i believe that runs through that area that brings oil from turkey and such and Russia will do whatever it takes to make sure that NATO is never that close to its borders.P.S Tanks rolling in and putting your reserves on active isn t a bluff

This is insane…Case closed? How convenient
