My kid brother has the exact same hairline as that - he calls the those spots on either side of the little island of hair left in the middle his "boat slips".
Hmm, that's actually not really correct, although it might give old wives something to talk about :)

Hair loss is men is mostly caused by a form of testosterone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT contributes to both hair loss and inflammation of the prostate. In fact, a drug developed to treat prostate cancer (Proscar) had the unintended side-effect of causing men to regrow lost hair. Since then, a form of it (Propecia) has been approved for hair loss by the FDA.
Let's hope it grows where you want it to (like a mustache would be nice, I can't grow in this 1cm area under my nose, the rest of the mustache is fine).

Why do guy's haircuts always cost less than girl's? I spend [the equivalent of] $100CAN every eight weeks or so with my hair stylist, for an hour and a half of wash/cut/blow job/EXCELLENT music*

gossip...
*Mind you, I have him to thank for introducing me to MG so...he's worth a hundred times that, over and over... :0)
... Maybe you're paying so much because of that "blow job" you listed in there?

I kid. We ladies don't need to pay that much, it's just a matter of priorities. I often get my hair cut for 15 bucks, when I'm not really caring too much about it.
You're paying for the experience of the stylist. And often, you're getting that extra treatment. Same with guys. We have a lot of male clientele who come in regularly and are paying $45-50 for their cuts. The majority of them enjoy that little extra. Plus stylists gotta get paid somehow, often commission of their services.
Nice cut, by the way.

I think most girls would agree that a mans hairline is pretty low on the priority list. A nice smile, intelligent conversation and direct eye contact (ie. not staring and talking to our rack - and you would be surprised how many guys of all ages blatantly do that) have much more impact than hair.

Yes, scruff is... exciting! Until you see food or a booger stuck in it.
I blame gravity for all my receding(make that descending)lines. Guess that doesn't work for hairlines.
it does.hair loss is often stress and not enough blood circulation in the head.
spend some time every day head down pulling your hair to get the blood back in there and you might just keep em.

Guys look sexy no matter what---bald, shaved head, grey, long hair, whatever. Women, not so much. A lot of our sexuality is tied up in our hair, and it is one of the first things guys say that attracts them. Imagine lovely Olga/Nelly with a cropped grey 'do.

Me, I just think men are lovely to look at no matter what. And Matt, the haircut looks good on you. That photo though, it's the kind where the eyes follow me no matter where I am....both intriguing and freaky!!

And besides, when you are wearing your straw hat, who cares what your hair(line) looks like?
