Live At Massey Hall International iTunes Release Update
In some parts of the world, such as New Zealand and Australia, it’s already the 7th, which means that Live At Massey Hall is available on iTunes.
The release on iTunes internationally will be only $11.99. Not bad for 20 tracks.

I have a feeling the big Universal marketing machine is hard at work for MG. At lunchtime while I was waiting for a prescription at the drug store I heard “Devil’s in the Detail” playing. OK, coincidence. Then at 5:00 while picking grapes out at Loblaw’s (of all places) I hear “Apparitions” - another coincidence? But then on my drive home, our local rock station was playing “I’m a Window”…. Can’t be coincidence…

Still trying to figure out my game plan. For me, the vinyl is an absolute must and most important of all the different releases, so I will be pre-ordering it tomorrow, but I’m debating though whether or not should do the download. Part of me really wants to wait until it’s released to stores (I’m an audiophile, I need to buy the physical copy from a store they day it’s released - it’s tradition. :p) but I really would like something new to listen to at work on Wednesday…
In the end, I’ll probably end up buying it three times.

The reason for this is because when the hard-copy is released it will only be available at Canadian retail. International orders can, of course, be made via the online store or other outlets – such as Amazon. (Quoting a previous post by Adminstrator)

How about some reviews, from those who have actually listened to it rather than those who are slobbering in anticipation of what they imagine it must sound like.
I’m sure Matt himself would like to know what some of us honestly think of it. It’s his first live album, after all. Uncharted territory.

i’m loving the first disc(canada) and can’t wait till the preorder is available! the only thing i miss is the talking in between songs, like i mean there still some but i was at the show and there was alot more. i miss the day hooker talk before i’m a window. but putting all of that nonsense aside it is a masterpiece. matt you should be patting yourself on the back, incredible.

Here’s what happened to me when I tried to order. I clicked on the “add to basket” tab on the discography page and it went to a screen that said “not available with attributes you selected.” So then I went to the “Matthew Good Music” page and clicked on it there. When I got to my basket there were two Cd’s on the list - one said “signed copy” and one did not. So I just removed the one that didn’t say ’signed’ and proceeded with ordering.

I’m telling you guys, I had an extra signed copy in my cart for my friend in addition to the one I already ordered seperately, and just recently it told me in my cart that it was no longer available, and it says that on the “Matthew Good Music” page also, so I don’t think it’s the same as before when everyone was getting that error message.

Finally ordered my copy having been on the site refreshing the page all day at work!!! Now the only thing that can make my day better is if he announces a UK tour :)

this happened to me to!!!! I emailed them, it was actually 2 minutes after my email that it said there were more signed copies:(.

Woo Hoo!!!!! I have finally pre-ordered the CD. I did have trouble the first few times I tried but persistence pays off. I didn’t see an option for a signed CD but I am just as happy to get a CD at all. Thanks for the option to pre-order Matt.

I managed to score myself a signed cd as well but am wondering what is going on with the vinyl pre-sale. I know some people were up for most of the night waiting for maple music to put the items up for pre-sale. What a long night that must have been. Anyway, there is still no sign of the vinyl. I thought perhaps I misreads the details of the pre-sale but on the Live at Massey Hall site it states that both the pre-sale for the limited edition cd and limited edition vinyl starts on October 7th. Hmmmm . . . . continuing to watch the site . .

I would think a few more than the signed cd’s, and they lasted quite a while. Someone told me there were 1000 copies of Avalanche released on vinyl. so that could be a possible number.

I know I was up for a long time last night (several time zones reached midnight). If I didn’t have an early class this morning I probably would have been up all night. All we can do I guess is be patient and thankful that at least the physical copies are now on sale and that they added an extra 100 signed copies.
Well, I guess today has made people consider how much Matt’s music means to them and how this music unites people from all across the country as well as internationally. Wow that was really sappy and probably due to sleep deprivation haha. The pre-sale for vinyls will come… we just have to be patient :)

Well, I woke up early this morning at 8am and went straight on to pre-order a signed copy and…I got a signed copy too!!! Man, I’m so glad I got my hands on one. It’s extra special since this is a birthday present for my girlfriend since we both love Matt and her birthday is on the 8th November. Perfect timing.

i ordered a signed copy, it said signed copy in my checkout basket, and my receipt says nothing about signed copy…..yea…..i called and e-mailed maple music, hopefully they can sort it all out
either way so long as i get the cd i’ll be happy, now i’m just waiting for the vinyl to go up for sale.
