a vinyl is a classic double-sided record. The Live at Massey Hall album would be a double-sided album that can be played on a turntable (record player).

i ordered a signed copy, it said signed copy in my checkout basket, and my receipt says nothing about signed copy…..yea…..i called and e-mailed maple music, hopefully they can sort it all out

either way so long as i get the cd i’ll be happy, now i’m just waiting for the vinyl to go up for sale.

Well, I woke up early this morning at 8am and went straight on to pre-order a signed copy and…I got a signed copy too!!! Man, I’m so glad I got my hands on one. It’s extra special since this is a birthday present for my girlfriend since we both love Matt and her birthday is on the 8th November. Perfect timing.

I managed to score myself a signed cd as well but am wondering what is going on with the vinyl pre-sale. I know some people were up for most of the night waiting for maple music to put the items up for pre-sale. What a long night that must have been. Anyway, there is still no sign of the vinyl. I thought perhaps I misreads the details of the pre-sale but on the Live at Massey Hall site it states that both the pre-sale for the limited edition cd and limited edition vinyl starts on October 7th. Hmmmm . . . . continuing to watch the site . .

I know I was up for a long time last night (several time zones reached midnight). If I didn’t have an early class this morning I probably would have been up all night. All we can do I guess is be patient and thankful that at least the physical copies are now on sale and that they added an extra 100 signed copies.

Well, I guess today has made people consider how much Matt’s music means to them and how this music unites people from all across the country as well as internationally. Wow that was really sappy and probably due to sleep deprivation haha. The pre-sale for vinyls will come… we just have to be patient :)

I would think a few more than the signed cd’s, and they lasted quite a while. Someone told me there were 1000 copies of Avalanche released on vinyl. so that could be a possible number.
