A few things of note this morning before I head downtown to the Bottom Line Conference.

First, two Provinces in Pakistan are now under emergency rule.

Second, the US occupation of Iraq opened the door for a lot of things, the arrival of domestic terrorism being one of them.

Third, in the never ending game of what Iran does and does not possess as far as what is required to produce a nuclear weapon, two top US intelligence officials told Congress today that Iran currently only possesses low-enriched uranium, which would need to be processed into highly-enriched uranium before being of use. Neither intelligence official claimed that that process was being undertaken.
