Steven Green, the ringleader behind the rape and murder of a 14-year-old girl (and the murder of her parents and sister) in Mahmudiya in 2006 has been found guilty in a Kentucky court. Being that he was discharged from the Army prior to charges being laid, Green was prosecuted in civilian court rather than by the US military. He now faces the possibility of the death penalty, which I do not agree with. Life in prison will do. Even better, life in an Iraqi prison.
