Stephen Fry Talks About WPtouch

I’m currently down in Portland, Oregon, watching Megan Fox battle a pile of robots in Transformers II on TV. Prior to that though, I was presenting WPtouch (which is the iPhone theme that is used on this site) to a group of about 200 people at WordCamp Portland.

Comedian Stephen Fry is probably one of the biggest users of WPtouch (every tweet of his generates about 100,000 unique visitors to his site in about three minutes), so I contacted him (via his webmaster, Andrew Sampson) prior to WordCamp Portland and asked if he’d like to contribute anything to my presentation. Stephen was nice enough to put together a little video, which I concluded my presentation with today. Here it is for everyone’s viewing pleasure.

The very first version of WPtouch was actually installed on this site a long time ago, and since that time it’s come a very long way. Thanks to Matt for continuing to support it, and to Stephen and Andrew for putting this little video together. You can read more about WPtouch over on BraveNewCode if you’re interested in learning more (and you can also find an iPhone friendly version of the video there as well). Enjoy.
