By “Selected dates for the fall tour,” does that mean this is the complete list of cities or just some select dates being posted?

Also, definitely don’t forget Cleveland! :)

I’ve heard it said that Cleveland rocks, but this was coming from an overweight, bespectacled, older white dude. Pics, or it didn’t happen. :)
Ames, IA - for the record - needs some rock after the colossal joke that was the last VEISHA crap-fest.
There would be at least 3 confirmed MG fans in attendance. :) and I would force my wife along, and a couple friends from classes. So, I guess we’re looking at 7 or 8, minimum. And I would buy a tshirt. So…

Cleveland once rocked many moons ago, or so I’ve heard, but now it’s just a pit stop for pop groups, lyrically challenged bands, and rappers. We definitely need musical salvation in the form of Matt Good. We did have The National come through last week, which was an amazing show btw, but nothing can top MG.

about time that we can buy that song!
looking forwad to thurs/fri…
June 26th, 2007 at 7:47 pm
Yes, yes. A Cleveland stop is a must :)

Just picked up the Single from iTunes, I wish that your record label would have released it DRM free and in the higher bitrate, but that has nothing to do with yourself. Looking forward to get my hands on the album and I can’t wait for the stream to see everything put together!
June 26th, 2007 at 9:24 pm
i agree with the dude about london. we do love you
ps: just bought the song
dope!
June 26th, 2007 at 9:55 pm
I don’t have a credit card :(
June 26th, 2007 at 10:16 pm
Will there be a DRM-free option for downloading? Or will the only DRM-free option be to buy the album (don’t worry, I’m planning to do that anyway)?

Why are all of Matt’s pictures on iTunes always the emo looking ones? Everybody I know thinks MG is emo music because of publicity shots like that.
June 27th, 2007 at 4:09 am
I hate iTunes :(
Can’t buy the new song here in the UK.

Wow.

Anyone who think Matt’s music is emo clearly knows jack about music.

Just bought the first track last night. It’s awesome. Kelowna or Vancouver or both for a tour stop would be nice.
June 27th, 2007 at 12:01 pm
Incredible track. Can’t wait for ‘Hospital Music’!

J. Canuck
Canuck, do you actually live in Ames?! I live just down the road in Ankeny! I can assure you, between my buddy and I and all the people we’ve converted, we would double or even triple that. You hear that, Matt? We’re talking 20 people down here, and possible T-shirt sales in the high single digits!! Seriously though, if you could make it to Des Moines you would probably get a decent turnout. Hell, if you play anywhere within the midwest I will probably try and find a way to be there…

When are tickets going on sale for the upcoming tour dates? and will there be new merchandise at the store soon?
June 27th, 2007 at 2:07 pm
What qualifies as an “emo” pic?
I think it’s a great shot of Matt.
June 27th, 2007 at 2:25 pm
Prince George!!
PRINCE GEORGE.

[...] Check back here on Friday evening (June 29th), I hope to have photos up - probably taken with my camera phone (since it’s easy to bluetooth them over for blogging purposes) and hopefully some awesome shots captured by Duane Storey as well (read his post about the trip here). All you have to do when reading a live blog is refresh the page, as I’ll be editing and re-editing the same post (same url) all evening. Comments will also be open. Update: The first single “Born Losers” is available today on iTunes Canada [MatthewGood.org] [...]

hoping for a Kingston date since we all know what happened last time :(

Yes, play Kelowna.
I wish you didn’t have to download the software to buy music. Should be just a website you could use.
Oh well. software installed and song purchased!
June 28th, 2007 at 3:49 pm
In the chorus for this song, is the line “no cocaine calls” or “no cocaine calms”?
June 28th, 2007 at 6:40 pm
Decatur, it’s “no cocaine cons”. In fact, if you venture to the Community Forums, Matthew has posted the lyrics to Born Losers in the Hospital Music section.
June 29th, 2007 at 12:09 pm
D’oh! Don’t know how I missed it, thanks Susan!
