It has come to our attention recently that there have been more abuses of both accounts on this site, and members themselves.
We would prefer that those who sign up for an account on matthewgood.org are free to add e-mail addresses, website URLs, and images of themselves through the Gravatar.com service without the fear that it will eventually lead to abuses on the part of other registered members.
Let it be said first of all that we do not use the information you provide in any way ...More »

I want to apologize to all those fans that waited by the bus last night for autographs. Normally I would have done my usual after show signing, but last night was the first time that I got to see my father since I’ve been home and he’s been out of the hospital, so I spent the majority of the evening after the show with my family. On top of that; last night took a great deal out of me, I was utterly exhausted.
For future reference, ...More »

Hotel food, Video On Demand – the usual fare. Instead of the usual I thought that I would address some of the more interesting things brought up in emails that I have received today.
First, fan complaints about the recent show in Edmonton - the usual, it wasn’t this or it wasn’t that. To be honest, and this is nothing against Edmonton crowds because usually they’re pretty great, but the entire time we were up there it felt like we playing to cardboard cut outs. That ...More »

This morning I woke up unable to breathe through my nose. Given the number of hands I shake on a nightly basis, and the fact that I have a terrible immune system, it’s not uncommon for me to contract something during after show signings. That being the case, I would very politely ask that if you’re planning on getting anything signed after any of the remaining shows that you refrain from extending your hand, or not be offended if I decline a handshake. It is, ...More »

This morning I awoke to over 350 emails and Facebook messages from people all over the world. All of them, without exception, were positive, kind, and extremely supportive. I simply cannot relay how grateful I am to those of you that took the time to write me, it means a great deal. I would also like to thank the fans at Nearfantastica for their insights and comments of support.
I spent a lot of time laying in my bunk last night thinking about everything and ...More »

The highlight of last night’s show is captured in the photograph above – a marriage proposal. Over the last year I have been asked on two separate occasions if it would be possible for proposals to be made on stage during a performance, and I was, on both occasions, more than happy to oblige. It was a fantastic moment for Ray and his wife to be, who was actually in the crowd and had to make her way to the front of the stage and ...More »

Several weeks ago a fan e-mailed us and asked a special favor. Due to the circumstances of my joining the tour, we were able to make it happen. Kelly mailed us some fan art of Matt, and I brought it on tour and Matt signed it for Patrick's birthday and mailed it back to her.
He sent me a thank you note today, and a picture of himself with the artwork.
"My birthday is on Nov. 6th, and I have gotten the most thoughtful thing from my ...More »

We received a few submissions recently, one of which we're posting by Melanie Chung because it's very different from those submitted so far. Excellent ideas and style are contained in the work, although an unneeded taxation of concepts used in Weapon detract from an otherwise excellent piece in my opinion.
