On June 6th, 1944, Canadians landed on Juno Beach. Like Canadian actions in Italy, their objective was to defeat Nazism. My grandfather was in the RAF, my great uncles in the army. That said - “Indigenous Canadians, including First Nations, Métis, and Inuit personnel, served in significant numbers during D-Day.” Despite the wrongs done to them, they still served this nation as Canadians. Fast forward to September 27th of this year… “A group of masked men, identified as member
