I’m making a record as of yesterday. It will be an imperfect sounding record compared to what’s out there. And that’s how I want it. I want it to be real, scrappy, and somewhat underproduced. The album features new songs and a few that were lost in the past that I believe should have been recorded. Either way, I’m enjoying it. I’m doing it in a small, out of the way studio in Toronto. I’ve recorded in world class studios during my career but this place feels right for this. N

The Fine Art Of Falling Apart has always ranked high in my personal estimation. I wrote it in just over an hour. I recorded it in one live take. Sometimes things just work out. I can’t remember how I felt on the day I wrote it or what magic was present. It was one of those things that just came to me. I’m thankful that it did.
